Tarrytown, New York

Earlier this year, I was accepted as part of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and Education First (EF)  Summer School, which was hosted in Tarrytown, New York. The week long school brought together 75 young people from 75 different countries and proved to be a unique space for exploring diversity, learning beyond one’s borders and exploring diverse perspectives.

The EF Tarrytown campus that was our home for the duration of the summer school.

Me with some of the summer school participants, who are all change drivers in their respective countries.

The lakes have apparently been preserved for over a century and are just breathtakingly beautiful, nature in full glory. Despite the steep hills there is a culture of walking in this area, so the magnificent trails are put to good use.
