I was recently in Oxford for the annual ‘Oxford Africa Conference’. It’s a small town that revolves around the university and kind of reminded me of Grahamstown. Everything was generally a 20-minute walk apart, so getting around was no problem. While the town has strong serial killer vibes, it was great to be able to safely walk around at any time. In between my panel discussions and other parts of the conference, I managed to squeeze in some great long walks.
